Top Teens of America provides opportunities for the wholesome development of youth through activities that will enhance educational, social, moral, spiritual, cultural, and economic development. On March 3, 2018, the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.® Central Virginia Chapter inducted 14 Teens into our newly chartered Top Teens of America Chapter. Our Top Teens continue to support their community projects.  All Top Teens are eligible to apply for the local, area, and national TLOD scholarships. We are so proud of our Top Teens of America!!!

THE PURPOSE OF THE TTA PROGRAM

​

Top Teens of America (TTA) of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.® provides all teens, regardless of their ethnic or socio-economic status, the opportunity to receive extra-curricular support, career and character development training, and key community volunteer opportunities. As a member of Top Teens of America,  Teens receive a mentor and learn important skills in the areas of managing meetings, event planning, etiquette, leadership, conflict resolution, team building, and much more. There are currently 108 TTA chapters with over 5,000 Top Teens located throughout the United States, making a difference in the community in which they live.

ExCEL Program – Excellence through Culture, Education, and Leadership.  Building the next generation of Leaders with emphasis on the three pillars:  Culture, Education, and Leadership utilizing M.O.M.E.N.T.U.M. as its foundation.  Focus on adolescent suicide prevention, domestic violence, human trafficking, mental health/depression, stress disorders, In-Roads, NAACP-ACT-SO Program, UNCF MIT College Tours, Black Girls Rock, Black Girls Magic, Me & My Mentor, Dorothy Allen Chimney Black History Bowl, Vivien Coe Richard TTA Leadership Academy, St. Jude, March of Dimes Healthy Choices Conference, March for Babies, and Mentoring Walk.
